Braids are all the buzz this summer, and we
have the inclusive on how to make your braids look fun and unique! For
starters, not just any old braid will do—lets try something different, like a
fishtail braid!
(Shown
it the picture above)
First, we’re going to give you step-by-step
instructions on how to fishtail braid, then, we’re going to show you how to
spice it up!
Step 1: Part your hair into two even
sections.
Step 2: Take a small strand of hair
(preferably from underneath so that it wraps around the entire section) from
one section and bring it over to the other side. Make sure your strands of hair
aren't too large, or it will look more like a regular braid!
Step 3: Do the same thing with the other
section.
Step 4: Repeat steps 2 & 3 until the
braid is finished.
Step 5: To make your braid a little more full
looking, lighting tug the edges of the braid to widen it.

picture demonstration on fishtail braiding)
Now, it’s time to get a little crazy…
Step 1: Tie yarn to one layer of hair at the
root. We teased the roots a little bit to help the yarn stay.
Step 2: Braid the pieces in with the same technique
as seen above. Be sure to vary the colors of yarn.
Step 3: Trim pieces of yarn and tie off with
yarn.
This look is perfect for pool parties, and
beach days! You can even match the yarn up with your swimming suit!
