Josephine’s 4th Annual Pretty in Pink Gala is Coming Soon!
Did you know 1 in 8 U.S. women (just under 12%) will develop invasive
breast cancer over the course of her lifetime? At Josephine’s Day Spa &
Salon we’re working harder and harder each year to help lower that number! We
host an annual Pretty in Pink Gala every October to help support Breast Cancer
Awareness and raise money to help find a cure. Last year we raised $4,279! Our
goal is to beat that number this year! 100% of our proceeds are donated to The
Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
The Breast Cancer Research
Foundation’s mission is to achieve prevention and a cure for breast cancer in
our lifetime by providing critical funding for innovative clinical and
translational research at leading medical centers worldwide, and increasing
public awareness about good breast health. Currently, 91 cents of every dollar
spent by BCRF is directed towards breast cancer research and awareness
programs.
Our Gala will be October 27th, 2012 from
6:00pm-9:00pm. We would love to see you there! We are prepared for
an evening filled with entertainment, appetizers, pink-inspired cocktails,
raffle items, games and a few surprises as well!
Raffle tickets are $15—this
covers your entrance fee and two raffle tickets.
Tickets can be purchased at our Pearland or
Eldridge location. Donations are also welcome.
